Bulletproof Punk

Dear Arvind Kejriwal,

For sense to prevail, a thorough understanding of what is nonsense, should be understood.

We understand that you are angry at the system. We understand that the gamma radiations of a corrupt system has transformed you into The Incredible Hulk. It is acceptable that you have decided to go Bruce Lee when he decided to "Enter The Dragon". Or do you think you have decided to put your Hogwarts' degree and broom to good use by playing Quidditch with the Aam Janta's day to day working order?

But right now, if a mirror was held to your face, you would see that you are no better than a child who has decided to throw a fit, because he didn't get his way. This is why I say kids are the biggest anarchists of them all, and you Sir, have proven to be a big fat baby in putting up this mockery of a strike in front of the world's audience.

The roots of the word "anarchy" are Latin, but evolve into the Greek words "an archos" loosely translating to "no leaders". That is chaos at work. Calling yourself an anarchist is significant to your cause, because you are an "aam aadmi" and therefore by definition, doesn't make you a leader. The problem here is, that phase of yours is over. The people of Delhi have made you a leader, and therefore, you are responsible to the Constitution and the people who elected you.

Therefore, stop trying to go all Bane on us, and leave this "I am an Anarchist" T shirt slogan joke aside

Understand first, and understand well, that the world is watching you. Okay, screw the world, the people of India are looking at you. Okay, screw them too, the people who elected you are watching you. And you are answerable to them.

First, learn and understand what you are. You cannot be the Government and the Opposition all in one. You cannot run with the hare and hunt with the hounds. This is not an 80s Hindi Movie Double Role. Nor are you medically schizophrenic. So stop acting like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and define what your personality is.

Because you claim to represent the Aam Aadmi, understand this first, you are not here to war on our behalf. You are not here to take the city to ransom. You are not here to blame, thug, coerce, shame, and arm twist the system into submission.

Your job, is to DO THE JOB THE PEOPLE GAVE YOU TO DO.
Your job, is to LET OTHER PEOPLE DO THE JOBS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO.
Your job, is to FACILITATE OTHER PEOPLE TO LET THEM DO THEIR JOBS.
Your job, is to ENSURE PEOPLE DO THEIR JOBS.
Your job, is to not be the status quo or break it,  IT IS TO CHANGE IT WITH EFFORT AND PATIENCE

The people have voted you in for Five whole years. The voters are not IDIOTS to not let you fulfil your promises within that stipulated time. So why the hell are you bent on playing the desi version of "The Fast and The Furious"?

The reason people voted you into power, because you presumed and presented yourself to be an alternative to the "traditional parties". And your idea of being different is being "revolutionary"? How are you different from a blackmailing thug? And do not even consider yourself taking the path of "satyagraha" "Non Cooperation" and try to make this "Freedom Struggle 2.0" because this does'nt bear any connection to what happened in the freedom struggle.

The fact is straight. Your minister shot himself in the foot when he decided to go Rogue. He publicly humiliated and outraged against women of colour. He broad stroked an entire race of people as being drug peddlers, sex racketeers, and imbeciles. He wanted the police to act against them cos " HE WAS THE LAW MINISTER". And when people started gunning for him, you decided to act. By going against the Government of India! Because they did not listen to your State Government Minister.

Is this an ego trip? Or is this a demand that's rationally coming from the people, based on your preferred route of referendums?

What you want your core voters to believe is that it's the government's fault that we don't support one another. You want everyone to revolt against the institution. Why?

Not because it's actually the institution's fault, but because you want that power yourself.

The reason that people are raped, killed, thugged, mugged, and hurt and live without hope in this nation is not due to any government. The reason it's happening is because we are allowing it to happen. Don't get me wrong, our government is not perfect. There's nothing that has ever been nor ever will be perfect about it. But what's even more messed up is how average Indians aren't doing their parts individually to make sure everyone is taken care of. Average Indians expect others to take care of it, and that is exactly what you are peddling in the name of revolutionising the system.

The biggest Anarchists start by saying things like :

Help those who can't help themselves.
Love the unloved.
Bring hope where there is none.

Only to find themselves at the helm of a society in so much chaos, with so many variables that things just implode.

Anyone with a rational sense of thinking can deduce that this is just a ploy to gain the public eye. To rekindle fantasies, and to set sparks to a dwindled fire inside people, and set it into a forest fire. This looks like a ploy to gain public confidence so that AAP 2.0 can upgrade from CM to PM. If that's your ambition, then it looks like your own promises have overloaded you and you are looking for an excuse to get the hell out of the government. The corollary to that would be : if you cant control Delhi, why would you gun for India?

The answer : POWER.

And that doesn't look like anarchy. That looks like a Dicatatorship. So if you consider that you are taking the US strategy of invading a country, taking over the government, installing your own setup and remote controlling the working under the guise of "Aam Aadmi" then sorry, this is not going to happen.

Your allegiance lies with the people. The people who work. The people who get their salaries cut when they cant show up to work. The people who have mouths to feed. The people who depend on the institution and the machinery. Shutting roads, causing blocks, blocking the metro and inconveniencing your base is not the way to go about things.

See, in the end, what you make me, and people who share my thoughts, is to feel divided. You would want everyone to feel like we have absolutely no power or support because no one knows who's in charge. The reality of it is that we have all the power. We can change our neighborhoods, our cities, our states, our country, and our world if we will quit blaming the shortcomings on other people and step up to do our own individual part.

So have some respect, quit inconveniencing folks and go do your job. Stop this publicity stunt and go to your office, and work, just like the rest of us.  The role of Borat has already been taken by Narendra Modi, and Rahul Gandhi is behaving like Justin Bieber..kindly donot include yourself as Inspector Jacques Clouseau.

Hope good sense prevails.

Sincerely,
Me.

PS : If you are thinking of jeopardising Republic Day...that's a whole different can of worms. Remember that it is one day where every Indian in this country swears allegiance to the Constitution. The same Constitutional oath you took when you became CM. Go home, draw a shower, get some food and think about what example you want to set for yourself, your cadres, your people and your fellow Indian citizens.
